You do not need to bring a partner; you can come for class with friends or by yourself. We rotate partners to ensure that the students will get to know each other in class and are able to lead/follow properly.
Dance experience is not required: the class is meant for those who have not danced before in their life and also for those who want a "refresher" course on how Salsa is done.

The Salsa On2 is another genre of Salsa (as compared to Salsa on1) that has a slightly more syncopated feel. The difference between Salsa on1 & on2 can be similar to transposing a song from one key to another. The steps are same, but the timing and counts differ.
This Salsa class in Singapore teaches you how to convert your dance steps from Salsa on1 to Salsa on2. Recommended for Intermediate students who are already proficient in dancing Salsa on1.

Afro Cuban Rumba was formed and performed by the African descent in the streets of Cuba and remains the most characteristic form of music and dance till today. The definition of Rumba in Spanish means to go to parties to have fun and dance and so, the dance form lives up to its definition as a fun, sassy Latin-style of ballroom dance. Nowadays Rumba can be danced to any modern music, however, the key components are polyrhythmic drumming and vocal improvisation. The modern day Rumba is infused with jazz and hip hop combining small steps with bent knees and hip movements. It is considered a romantic form of dance where the ladies show attitude to their male partners but the most important feature is keeping connection with your partner. The dancers of rumba usually express a sassy, smooth, and sensual attitude. To achieve that, the toes should be at a slight diagonal to allow us to achieve the main hip movement, Cuban motion.
