"Back in 2007, I met a woman from Singapore by the name of Starlinn Choo. She was teaching and performing in California. This past week, I spent a week in Singapore teaching at the ACTFA school of dance in the city. I have to say, that when I saw Starlinn not only perform, but dance socially at a local club, she completely blew my mind. The crowd was so mesmerized by her dancing, movements, spins, and body control that no one in the room could take their eyes off of her.
Since we met, Starlinn Choo has not only become an incredible performer, but also one of the top, if not "the" top social dancers in the entire world. I had the opportunity to study some of her moves and videos, as well as watch her teach over fifty of her students prepare for literally 22 performances over a single weekend. She is above and beyond the levels of some of the top talents in the world - man or woman. I can't even put anyone else in the same sentence with her. Her stamina, charisma and talent is so far above anything or anyone else I have ever known in the industry.
In all my 21 years of teaching and traveling the world, I have never met, nor have ever seen such incredible, natural, gifted talent as Starlinn Choo. She is truly, not only one of a kind, but I believe, God's true gift to this world of dance. Believe me, once you see her dance, ESPECIALLY in person, you will not only be blown away, but realize, that this small testimonial doesn't even come close to doing her justice. With all my respect, - Edie, The Salsa FREAK!!"
